The International Affairs and Trainings (IATR) Division, Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) was established in year 2008 with a view to build strong relation of PSQCA with international organization i.e. the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), The International Organization of Legal Metrology (OIML), The Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC), South & South East Asia Region (SESA), The South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) / South Asian Regional Standards Organization (SARSO), National Standard Bodies (NSBs), and others. IATR has its own state of the art training institute for capacity building of stakeholders.
